All the Relais & Châteaux business indicators have chalked up a major increase according to the latest Business Survey of all the Association’s member properties.
Accommodation, restaurants, spa/beauty: sales revenues on the rise
The cumulated sales revenues of all the member properties totalling EUR 1.274 billion, have recorded a global increase of 5.96%. Accommodation activity has risen by 6.96% and restaurant activity by 5.50%.
Although these two sectors account for most of the sales revenues, the spa/beauty activities have also enjoyed significant growth of 11.39%.
Increasingly attractive properties
Given their unique family character, their matchless fine dining dimension and their vision of luxury based on the pleasures of the senses, the positioning of Relais & Châteaux properties is underpinned by an increase in the average occupancy rate of 3.70% and in the number of covers of 4.10%.
The main markets of the Association are still France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and Switzerland.
13% of sales revenues directly generated by membership of Relais & Châteaux
Thanks to the prestige of the brand and the showcasing of its members in its Guide, its website, its central reservation system and its Maisons des Relais & Châteaux in Paris, London and New York, 13% of the sales revenues of the members are directly generated by membership of Relais & Châteaux.
More guests, more services, more prestige are the original formula behind the successful Relais & Châteaux model around the world.
