Culinary Clash of the Titans

History is filled with epic match-ups: The Roman Legion vs. The Greek Army; Team USA vs. Team Canada in hockey's gold medal game; and of course, we all remember Team Jennifer vs. Team Angelina.

Now, on America's eastern seaboard, a sizzling showdown is heating up in the kitchen. Hosted in the gourmet kitchen of Four Seasons Hotel Boston on May 12, the Chef's Challenge Cook-Off is a cooking class like no other. We'll call it "Battle Boston."

Attendees will be placed in teams, with each team assigned a chef to coach them through the same menu: do-it-yourself filled pasta; from-scratch soufflé; and a specialty cocktail.

But here's the twist while the chef can offer advice on what filling to put in the pasta, what flavour to make the soufflé and what cocktail will complement both, he or she can't wield a utensil. So, it's up to the aspiring kitchen warriors to work together and win the culinary war on their own terms.

The final meals will be presented to a head judge, the Hotel's Executive Chef Brooke Vosika, who will declare a champion based on creativity, flavour and presentation. Apart from extreme bragging rights and some delicious new recipes, the winners will get an Award Certificate.

So, if you're hungry to visit kitchen stadium, visit Four Seasons Hotel Boston and enlist for "Battle Boston" today!
