A key moment for professionals
Year after year, this event brings together a large number of recruiters and candidates, eager to find or fill positions for the upcoming summer season. Over 800 job offers will be on offer this year, from renowned establishments in popular regions such as the Côte d'Azur, the Atlantic coast and Corsica. 40 establishments will be present at the show, including : La Réserve Ramatuelle, Hôtel Byblos Saint-Tropez, Cheval Blanc Saint-Tropez, Hôtel du Cap Eden Roc and Grand Hôtel du Cap Ferrat.
A professional springboard
It offers the chance to talk directly to professionals and find out more about the positions available. It also provides an opportunity to explore the sector's needs and trends, in a convivial setting conducive to fruitful collaborations.
The Salon de l'Emploi Saisonnier represents a unique opportunity to land a job in a booming sector. Employers find it an effective way to meet profiles tailored to their specific needs. The event stands out for its role as a genuine professional springboard.
Corinne Secco, Director of Courchevel Emploi, Formation et Qualité de vie au travail, looks back on this year's event.
Journal des Palaces: What is the aim of the Salon de l'Emploi Saisonnier de l'Hôtellerie-restauration?
Corinne Secco: One of the missions of Courchevel Emploi is to promote employment in the area: we therefore facilitate meetings between seasonal workers in winter positions and recruiters offering summer contracts in the hotel and catering sector. We hope to win the loyalty of seasonal workers by offering them the chance to work two seasons in different geographical areas, offering an attractive environment and jobs with similar profiles.
In addition to bringing together seasonal workers and employers, the show is also an opportunity to consolidate the “sea-mountain” partnerships that Courchevel hopes to perpetuate with, for example, Saint Tropez, Cannes and Monaco, as well as Corse-du-Sud and Charente-Maritime.
In summer, this reciprocity takes the form of HCR seasonal job fairs, during which Courchevel establishments offer summer seasonal workers their offers for the following winter.
New this year, candidates will be able to meet recruiters by videoconference. Why this choice?
Although we prefer face-to-face meetings, some establishments were unable to attend and given the growing number of requests to take part, this year we're going to experiment with an e-show.
What advantages does Courchevel Emploi offer its seasonal workers?
Courchevel Emploi is a resource center for seasonal workers and has been awarded the “espace saisonniers” and France Service labels. As such, the team can help with CV writing, job hunting, housing and transport information, social law issues and any other administrative matters.
In addition, thanks to an association with administrative support from the commune in the form of two assistants to manage membership, seasonal workers can benefit from advantageous rates on lift passes, shopkeepers and various leisure activities.
What is the main trend for the 2025 season, compared with previous seasons?
Last year we welcomed more than 600 visitors at the Salon, and the trend that seems to have emerged since 2024 is that candidates are looking a little more towards careers in the hotel and catering industry, which, let's not forget, is a sector of activity that enables social advancement, within beautiful homes.
