After the success of January 2024, the September edition of Maison&Objet is fast approaching. Mélanie Leroy, the group's general manager, announced at a press conference that the show will open on Thursday, September 5 at the Parc des expositions Paris Nord Villepinte, closing four days later on Monday, September 9.

After "Tech Eden" at the start of 2024, Maison&Objet unveils its new theme for September. Always looking to the future, visitors will be able to discover the "Terra Cosmos" universe, the fruit of collaboration between the show and the Peclers Paris consultancy agency, already at work last January.

"Terra Cosmos" aims to bring imaginary worlds from elsewhere into line with terrestrial reality: "from cosmos to earth, from earth to cosmos". Among its inspirations, visitors will discover the world of science fiction, as seen in the success of the Dune franchise, or Stanley Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). It's also influenced by artists such as Hugo Fournier, an art director and 3D artist specializing in futuristic surrealist and brutalist creations.

It's a theme resolutely inspired by the 60s, in the shapes and materials, with roundness, glass and crystals, but also in the choice of visuals. Pop colours such as yellow, orange, and red will be omnipresent. But while "Terra Cosmos" is rooted in the present, it is also resolutely forward-looking, adapting to new "consumer territories", as the organizers emphasize. The use of recycled materials and new technologies, and the desire to create even more immersive experiences while respecting the environment, perfectly symbolize this trend.

Applied to the Maison&Objet show, "Terra Cosmos" will be divided into three main inspiration areas, the "What's New", as during the January edition. The "retail" section, with its futuristic heritage: how to bring continually the customer back into the store, through experiences in hybrid spaces. The "hospitality" cluster, or extreme experiences through immersion. Finally, the "residential" cluster, with its sensory futurism: thinking about the future of the home, directly linked to environmental protection, and designed to be more mobile.

Maison&Objet will continue to amplify its product curation by seeking out novelty: new brands, new products, amplifying the impact of the "Well Being and Beauty" and "Fashion" poles, introduced in September 2023... Mélanie Leroy wants to make Maison&Objet a key place "of inspiration, so that, whatever the project, we can have this wealth of market deciphering, to make its project a real success".

Inspiration, curation, but also solutions will be the watchwords of this September 2024 edition, with French and international "Talks" offering concrete answers to visitors' various projects.
