In partnership with Biow, a leader in sleep science technology, this initiative will further elevate the sleep experience, ensuring guests can recharge their energy while sleeping and wake up feeling refreshed.

Recognizing that sleep quality is crucial for an outstanding guest experience, Radisson Hotel Group continues to redefine hospitality by prioritizing the essentials that matter most to guests. As part of its renowned "Radisson Brilliant Basics" offering, the Group ensures premium-quality sleep through expertly selected mattresses, duvets, and pillows.

These thoughtful choices combine comfort and quality to provide guests with the restful nights they deserve. Taking this commitment a step further, Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Biow to introduce Revitalize Rooms: a science-based device designed to enhance sleep quality even more.

By addressing common sleep challenges, this cutting-edge addition underscores the Group’s dedication to holistic guest well-being and its ongoing commitment to delivering Memorable Moments.

Sleep is a crucial part of well-being

Surveys show that a comfortable bed and a good night’s sleep are key priorities for travelers of all ages, with over 75% of travelers across all age groups ranking it first, even ahead of strong WiFi. However, research from the University of Fribourg examined the impact of unfamiliar environments on people’s sleep patterns and revealed the impact of the ‘first night effect’ which leads to lighter, more restless sleep.

Data from luxury bedmaker DUX showed that just 34% of people sleep better in hotel rooms, with mattress makers Simba saying 40% of people dread staying away from their own beds due to a lack of quality sleep. At Radisson Hotel Group we now define this as ‘away-somnia’ and have launched Revitalized Rooms with the enlisted support of Biow to tackle it.

How guests can enjoy this enhanced sleeping experience

As part of its partnership with Radisson Hotel Group, Biow will implement its unique, innovative technology – produced in the European Union – in four Radisson Hotels properties in Europe; Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, Radisson RED Liverpool, Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado, and Radisson RED Madrid.

This introduction highlights the Group’s care for the wellbeing of its guests, and desire to continue providing best-in-class stays across its portfolio. The device can now be booked by guests prior to their arrival at any of the four properties, highlighting the Group’s commitment to continually pushing for more innovative guest experiences.

Biow is a device that improves your body simply by breathing. It eliminates inhaled biotoxicity, while emitting energy that reaches the body’s cells through breath and skin. The technology promotes an environment where body cells can function efficiently, helping to manage oxidative stress naturally and without adverse effects. The device operates 24/7 in silence and consumes minimal power.

The plasma-powered Biow E-OX device will enable guests to recharge their energy while sleeping, wake up feeling refreshed, experience a plasma bath paired with light therapy to reduce stress and stimulate skin collagen.
