Now, following an extensive renovation, the luxury lifestyle brand has reimagined its legacy, blending historic grandeur with contemporary, laid-back luxury to offer guests unbeatable dining, wellness, and design experiences.
Located in Marbella’s most exclusive enclave just 500 metres from the Mediterranean, the resort features 195 elegantly designed rooms, including 60 suites, many with private terraces and sea views.
The transformation to Kimpton Los Monteros artfully marries elements of history with contemporary flair.
Crafted by the award-winning Barcelona-based interior design team El Equipo Creativo, which has garnered more than 70 international accolades, the hotel's composition draws inspiration from Marbella's rich cultural heritage.
It seamlessly integrates geometric patterns, terracotta tiles, and flowing organic curves to foster a warm, welcoming ambiance. The guest rooms, designed by the renowned Cristina Carulla Studio, feature natural materials and vivid colour accents, capturing the essence of the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle while offering stunning views of the sea.
Kimpton Los Monteros is also a premier venue for memorable meetings and events. With 5,000 square metres of outdoor space and 700 square metres of versatile spaces including a grand ballroom for up to 250 guests, a scenic rooftop, and the exclusive beach club – the hotel is perfect for weddings and private gatherings.
As with all Kimptons, the property will also feature perks such as Kimpton Kickstart morning coffee and tea service, Kimpton Social evening social hour, a “Forgot It? We’ve Got It!” programme, in-room yoga mats and pet-friendly policies.

At Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella, Michelin-starred Executive Chef José Carlos García renowned for his restaurant José Carlos García Málaga, places premium gastronomy at its core.

- Jara restaurant presents elevated Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary approach, showcasing the finest Andalusian ingredients. Menu highlights include wild sea bass, cooked in a salt crust or roasted turbot served with green beans from the hotel’s garden and Jerez vinegar.
