- Offering a front-row seat to the Great Migration, this astounding destination is situated within 350,000 private acres of pristine wilderness in northern Tanzania

- With seven safari options, including tented camps and permanent lodges, this year sees the launch of two brand-new private villas, now open

Started from 18th November, Air France launches a new direct flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), opening an effortless gateway to one of East Africa’s most exclusive safari destinations: Singita Grumeti, a private 350,000-acre reserve in the Serengeti, Northern Tanzania.

For over 30 years, Singita has been a leading light in African tourism and conservation – a pioneering, family-owned business with the right motives of conservation and community at its core.

From Singita Sabora Tented Camp, a romantic retreat that immerses guests in the Serengeti’s vast wilderness; Singita Faru Faru Lodge, a contemporary haven blending seamlessly into its riverine setting; and two brand new private villas, Singita Milele and Singita Kilima, each of Singita’s properties invite travellers to mentally unplug and connect. Guests can witness the Great Migration and encounter thriving predator populations, all while supporting Singita’s 100-year mission to preserve and protect large areas of African wilderness for generations to come.

What's new

New Opening: Singita Kilima, Opened October 2024
The newest addition to the collection, Singita Kilima is sheltered by a forest of ancient trees on a remote hillside overlooking the Serengeti plains. Featuring earthy colour palettes and textured patterns, Kilima’s free-spirited aesthetic offers total seclusion with intimate spaces for guests to savour the surrounding wilderness. Synonymous with the globally renowned Singita experience, a dedicated team of staff, including a field guide, chef, butler, and housekeepers, will be on hand to ensure an all-inclusive safari experience tailored to each guest’s specific preferences. Accommodating up to 10 guests in five beautifully appointed suites, Kimila is perfect for family and groups of friends seeking a safari adventure.

New Opening: Singita Milele, Opened May 2024
Three years in the making comes the brand-new Singita Milele; an expansive one-of-a-kind private villa set high upon the Serengeti plains. An ambitious project led by South African based HK Studio, each space has been intentionally designed to minimise the barriers between guests and nature, visually, acoustically, and physically. Weaving a contemporary take on the iconic motifs of African safari into every aspect of the villa’s aesthetic, Singita Milele offers guests the epitome of spacious Serengeti luxury. Accommodating up to ten guests, the villa’s five individually styled suites each reflect the spirit of a famed local species, with names inspired by their collective nouns: Journey (giraffe), Pride (lion), Coalition (cheetah), Dazzle (zebra), and Crash (rhino). Every detail celebrates Africa’s creative energy and excellence, with locally sourced design elements bringing a rich, authentic character to this truly remarkable retreat.

New Annual Safari Cycling Expedition: Singita Explore, Launched October 2024
This year, Singita and its NGO partner, the Grumeti Fund, launched a brand-new annual biking adventure - the Wagora MTB Ride - providing a life-changing opportunity for mountain bike enthusiasts to ‘pedal with purpose’ and traverse 150km through the Serengeti plains in support of the Grumeti Fund’s anti-poaching scouts. Riders taking part get to experience staying at the authentic and exclusive-use tented camp of Singita Explore, the perfect wind-down retreat for guests to immerse themselves in the thrill of camping in the most coveted wilderness setting without having to forfeit any of the comforts or luxuries. From dining under the stars, sleeping under canvas, or cooling off in the camp’s plunge pool, guests will connect closely with the earth and African wildlife in a way that they have never done before
