To mark this milestone, the luxurious hotel held a summer garden party in the presence of owners, ministers, ambassadors, high-ranking government officials, socialites, media and loyal guests.

“Our 25th anniversary is a celebration of both our heritage and our future,” said Eike Clausen, General Manager of the hotel and Regional Director of Operations Europe.

Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz prides itself on being the only international luxury brand on the island of Gozo, Malta. Set amidst 30,000 sqm of semi-tropical gardens, the hotel features 142 elegant rooms and suites as well as a range of distinctive cuisines reflecting the various influences from all kinds of settling visitors on the island.
Menus feature home-grown organic vegetables, herbs and fruits. Its 1,700 sqm spa includes an authentic Ayurveda Centre – one of the largest in the Mediterranean, offering a vast range of traditional Indian therapies – and Kempinski The Spa, including its Turkish Hammam, a luxurious hideaway of wellness.

Looking ahead, Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz remains committed to offering its guests unparalleled experiences while embracing innovation and sustainability.
Key parts of the public spaces such as lobby, bar, terrace, pool areas and coffee bar have been lately completely refurbished in a modern look & feel and during the coming winter months, the majority of the guest rooms and suites will undergo an extensive renovation to allow guests to stay in a contemporary and elegant environment.
“On top of the new hotel looks, we are reinforcing our commitment to environmental projects in order to preserve Gozo’s natural beauty”, adds Eike Clausen.
“Eco-friendly practices are dear to our hearts. In the past we installed solar panels, implemented filtered water taps in all our rooms, replaced plastic key cards by bamboo ones and included charitable initiatives to give back to the Gozo community. We will continue the path of limiting the hotel’s consumption of natural resources and protect our little island in the Mediterranean.”
To commemorate the milestone of its 25th anniversary, Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz hosted an elegant summer garden party featuring a specially curated menu by its talented executive chefs, highlighting local flavors and produce.
