Europe
Princes’ Palace Resort (Büyükada, Türkiye) Re-opened 2024
- Historical island estate on the shores of the Marmara Sea
Sat on a nature conservancy on the island of Büyükada, this renewed historic estate blends the rich heritage of Istanbul with elevated contemporary luxury details.
The resort brings together natural beauty, refined hospitality and uninterrupted elegance to present a beacon of Turkish luxury, just two hours south of Istanbul.
With the Marmara Sea lapping at the shores of the island, each of the 69 rooms in the property have panoramic views of the ocean, or of the equally tranquil gardens.
The lagoon on which the island sits is said to have the cleanest waters of the Marmara Sea, reflecting the tranquillity of the surrounding nature and working in harmony with Princes’ Palace’s own wellness center.
Here, tailor-made treatments cater to personal preferences down to the finest of details, inciting rejuvenation of the highest order.
Castello del Sole Beach Resort (Ascona, Switzerland)
- Wellness and wildlife sanctuary
A sister property to LHW’s Widder Hotel in Zurich, Castello del Sole Beach Resort is located on the Swiss shores of Lake Maggiore, set on a 140-hectare estate comprising heavenly nature and waterside views.
Offering the luxury of simplicity and an experience of serene relaxation disconnected from distractions, this property is home to a private beach, a bird sanctuary, a botanical garden and an orchard.
Inside, the hotel has 41 suites and 38 rooms and a Spa with a diverse treatment menu including a grapeseed oil massage using ingredients from the hotel’s own vineyard.
Indoor and outdoor heated pools, tennis and golf offer plenty of options for those seeking active pursuits.
Althoff St. James’s Hotel and Club (London, UK)
- Storied St. James Townhouse
Located down a quiet street near Mayfair, Althoff St. James’s is the epitome of discreet elegance.
With Buckingham Palace, Burlington Arcade and Bond Street the local haunts of hotel guests, the capital city becomes a playground of theater, shopping, museums and the monarchy once the doorman tips his hat and opens the gates.
Famed for its original art collection, depicting portraits of politicians, socialites and aristocrats of times gone by, the paintings found throughout the property were once housed in London’s most aspirational Gentleman’s Clubs, a quiet nod to the heritage of the hotel.
Chef William Drabble has curated a delectable menu of tapas at Seven Park Place Bar & Lounge, and the culinary prowess of Victorian chef, Charles Elmé Francatelli is brought to life at Restaurant Francatelli.
Award-winning interior designer AMJ Design has fashioned each of the 60 guestrooms and suites into smartly-tailored, tasteful pied-a-terres, delivering a slice of refined London luxury in the heart of the city.

Sirru Fen Fushi (Shaviyani Atoll, Maldives)
- Arty, jungle island with beachfront and safari-style villas
Sirru Fen Fushi Island, nicknamed ‘the secret water island’ in honor of its expansive lagoon, sits within the northerly Shaviyani Atoll.
Hues of bold blues and intense azures embrace the hotel, with its collection of villas on land and sea, contrastingly decorated in earthy tones of sand and bronze.
Its unique, underwater art installation named “The Coralarium” was designed by British eco-artist, Jason deCaires Taylor, whose innovative, artistic approach to protecting the region’s diverse marine ecosystems perfectly represents the resort’s commitment to full immersion with the ocean.
A 650-foot (200 M) infinity pool, three restaurants and holistic spa offer the best of gastronomy, adventure and gentle escapism on this lush jungle island.
Aleenta Phuket-Phang Nga Resort & Spa (Phang Nga, Thailand)
- ‘Outside living’ beachfront wellness resort
With floor to ceiling windows, private pools, and breezy private terraces, the 67-suite Aleenta Phuket embodies the quintessentially Thai philosophy of indoor/outdoor living.
Joining its sister LHW property, Aleenta Retreat Chaing Mai, and set on the island of Phuket, the resort is located in a secluded bay just a short distance from the world renowned Phang Nga Bay, where limestone cliffs tower above crystal waters.
Thriving flora envelopes the beachfront, surrounding the Ayurah Spa and Wellness Centrer, which offers holistic wellness programs, curated and executed by in-house master therapists.
Culinary cultural immersion comes in many enjoyable forms, from plant-based dishes at Seasons restaurant, ocean views at the Edge or bespoke private dinners arranged on the beach.
