In collaboration with the Reuben Brothers, the opening of The Surrey heralds Corinthia Hotels’ inaugural venture into North America and the exquisite reimagining of an iconic Upper East Side establishment.
First built in 1926 as a residential hotel and located on the corner of East 76th Street and Madison Avenue, the original Surrey was frequented by celebrities, creatives, and world leaders, establishing an illustrious legacy.
In its latest iteration, The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel is primed to reestablish itself as one of the city’s most sought-after destinations for visitors and New Yorkers alike.

- 70 guest rooms and 30 suites designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, including four theme suites inspired by the picturesque bridges of Central Park.
- Casa Tua, The Surrey’s exclusive food & beverage partner offering a public-facing restaurant and lounge along with the Club, an exclusive private members area.
- The Surrey Spa featuring Sisley Paris comprised of two treatment rooms, a steam room and sauna, sensorial shower, salt relaxation room, and a fitness center.
- An art collection curated by Paris-based VISTO Galley featuring unique works from both established and emerging New York City artists.
