Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the opening of Taj Sawai, Ranthambore.

Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IHCL said, " Present in Rajasthan for over 5 decades, IHCL has a special relationship with the state. We are delighted to open Taj Sawai, our second hotel in Ranthambore, one of India’s most renowned National Parks.”

The 60 keys hotel in Khilchipur Village, is an indulgent retreat with a colonial design inspired by flora and fauna of the region. A medley of tradition, nature and contemporary aesthetics, the tranquil water bodies enhance the atmosphere.

Guests can embark on a culinary journey at the forest themed all-day diner, Machan, a grill and pool bar, Tropics and the rustic Whiskey Lounge. Over 2,500 square feet of banqueting space and an open lawn make for elegant meetings and social gatherings. Inspired by India’s ancient wellness legacy, J Wellness Circle spa including an infinity pool and a fitness centre offers holistic rejuvenation.

A team of experienced naturalists sharing captivating tales’ and profound insights of the beautiful flora and fauna ensure exhilarating safaris at the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, one of the largest tiger habitats in the country.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 23 hotels including 8 under development across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands in Rajasthan.
