ITB Buyers Circle offers an exclusive platform for doing business, maintaining contacts and important industry information. Members can take advantage of exclusive benefits 365 days a year.

As of now the applications are officially open for the ITB Buyers Circle at ITB Berlin 2023 – an exclusive membership for leading buyers representing the leisure, business travel and MICE sectors.

Leading decision-makers from around the world can apply for one of a total of 1,000 coveted places and take advantage of attractive benefits for a whole year until 31 October 2023.

This exclusive circle of handpicked leading buyers has existed for over ten years now.

The members of the ITB Buyers Circle are chosen following a careful selection process by an experienced jury. In 2023 the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show will take place from 7 to 9 March.

For the first time the trade show will open a day early and be held as an exclusive B2B event.

Next year, visitors to the show and luxury tourism buyers can look forward to the live debut of the HOME OF LUXURY by ITB in the Marshallhaus, which will take a somewhat different look at the world of luxury tourism.

“Demand for luxury travel is big, as is its potential, which is why we want to bring the global luxury tourism industry together in person and under one roof”, said Deborah Rothe, head of Business Development at ITB Berlin.

The new home of the luxury travel segment brings providers and global buyers from this market together in a new exhibition area in the Marshallhaus on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds and gives all participants an opportunity to view this tourism segment from a completely different perspective.

ITB Buyers Circle – an exclusive circle for over ten years

For the handpicked participants, a visit to ITB Berlin 2023 will be even more pleasant and productive than on previous occasions.

Throughout the event, members of the ITB Buyers Circle will have free access to the trade show and the ITB Berlin Convention, as well as to the entire digital content of the leading international thinktank of the travel industry.

They can also take advantage of a free cloakroom service and the Fast Lane, thus avoiding waiting times at the entrances.

Not least, they can look forward to exclusive access to the ITB Buyers Circle Lounge in Hall 7.2a, where an extensive selection of daily newspapers and trade publications will be available and where they can work efficiently with free wi-fi or make use of meeting rooms.

The ITB Buyers Circle Lounge is integrated in the new Business+ Lounge in Hall 7.2a.

On Wednesday, 7 March 2023, an efficient networking and business opportunity awaits those taking part in the exclusive Speed Networking event, where prior to the trade show an intelligent matchmaking tool will ensure that buyers can meet suitable business partners.

Rounding off the exclusive package for ITB Buyers Circle members will be a wide range of additional online benefits, including the use of all ITB Berlin Networking Services, access to the ITB Berlin News Area and participation in useful tutorials.

Additional information on the ITB Buyers Circle and the application process can be found here.

New home of the luxury travel segment

Following the adjustments for the ITB Berlin 2022- concept due to the pandemic, visitors interested in luxury tourism can look forward to the live debut of the HOME OF LUXURY by ITB in 2023.

Individual themes are assigned to four different exhibition areas, similar to the inside of a house, in the Marshallhaus at Messe Berlin – they include The Garden, The Library, The Nest and The Gallery.

Conversations in an informal and exclusive atmosphere, pre-arranged meetings, open networking events, panel discussions and lectures, a meet-the-media event and get-togethers will round off the luxury tourism experience over the three days of the show.

With this innovative format, ITB Berlin provides a unique environment for luxury tourism buyers as well as easy themed access to premium forms of travel.

Within the exhibition grounds it offers an ideal setting for networking, events and interviews as well as meeting people in large and small groups.

Luxury tourism providers can register for the HOME OF LUXURY by ITB here. Starting on 15 November luxury tourism buyers can register under this link: itb.com/itb-buyers-circle. You can find additional information at HOME OF LUXURY by ITB.

Media representatives and bloggers can obtain accreditation online as of December 2022.

About ITB Berlin and the ITB Berlin Convention

ITB Berlin 2023 will take place from Tuesday, 7 March, to Thursday, 9 March, as a pure B2B event. Since 1966, ITB Berlin has been the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show. The internationally renowned ITB Berlin Convention will take place parallel to the show and will be held live on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds - selected sessions will be streamed on ITBxplore. The ITB Berlin convention is the world’s largest travel industry event of its kind. In 2022 it took place as a virtual event on the brand’s website itb.com and registered 60,700 attendees from 125 countries who took part in more than 100 sessions featuring 223 speakers. In 2022, under the heading ’TRVLX by ITB’, ITB Berlin has planned a series of B2B networking events in European markets – the kick-off event took place in May in Georgia. Before the pandemic at ITB Berlin 2019, around 10,000 exhibitors from 181 countries displayed their products and services to some 160,000 visitors, including 113,500 trade visitors.
