Groupe GM, a leading international player in the guest amenity sector, furthers its commitment to the environment and launches with Algotherm, two new Ecolabel certified Ecopump.
Groupe GM and Algotherm’s long-established collaboration is now evolving to offer guests a selection of more environmentally friendly products. The Ecopump 300 ml (10.14 fl oz.) “All Over Shampoo” and “Liquid Soap” are now officially EU Ecolabel certified. Ecolabel is a label of environmental excellence that is awarded to products and services meeting high environmental standards throughout their life-cycle.
Algotherm’s story began more than 55 years ago in Brittany, in the North-West of France. This natural environment lies at the heart of the Iroise Sea and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known for the purity and incredible quality of its waters, this environment is home to a miraculous resource, an ingenious treasure for the skin: seaweed. Enriched with seaweed extracts, the Algotherm products aim to respect the skin and the marine ecosystem. Central to Algotherm’s value is the will to offer unique sensorial experience through beauty and well-being care rituals.

In addition to the Ecolabel certification, Groupe GM and Algotherm have also enhanced the product formula with an improvement of texture and foaming effect for better sensoriality. Also, the formula contains the use of a plant-based protein that helps the care of the hair.
Algotherm is committed to protecting the wealth of the ocean and provides through its products the richness, quality and efficiency of invaluable marine ingredients. Numerous precautions are taken to protect seaweeds and not to affect their durability. The new Ecolabel formulas are created to minimize the impact on the environment and aquatic ecosystem. Indeed, they fulfil strict biodegradability requirements and all ingredients made from palm oil are from sustainable sources (RSPO MB).
The complete hotel line is composed of five translucent tinted tubes with flip-top caps, one gentle soap and one seaweed exfoliating soap in cardboard boxes, two Ecopump dispensers Ecolabel certified and one reviving source mask in tube.
