Hersha Hospitality Management, L.P. (HHM), a hotel management company of nationally franchised, upper-upscale, upscale and mid-scale hotels in the Northeastern United States, today announced that it is opening and currently taking reservations for the upscale, newly built 100-suite Residence Inn Philadelphia Langhorne. This is the second newly built Residence Inn by Marriott opened and managed by HHM within the last month. The hotel is located at 15 East Cabot Boulevard in Langhorne, just minutes from Sesame Place Amusement Park, Oxford Valley Mall, Franklin Mills Outlet Mall, historic New Hope and Washington Crossing. Guests are only 20 miles from downtown Philadelphia.
"We are delighted to introduce this beautiful new property to the Greater Philadelphia marketplace, particularly due to the hotel's location, distinct and updated look and feel, and value among its peer set," said Mark DiPiazza, HHM's vice president of Operations in the Mid-Atlantic Region. "The Residence Inn Philadelphia Langhorne is the only all-suite hotel in Langhorne and is equipped with the latest generation of amenities and design from Marriott's Residence Inn."
The hotel features 100 brand new suites that include luxury bedding, fully equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances, and high-speed Internet access. The one- and two-bedroom suites also include a fireplace and 32-inch flat screen televisions. Guests will enjoy a daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet and frequent evening hospitality receptions. Other amenities at the hotel include meeting facilities, an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, state-of-the-art fitness center, billiards room, a sports court featuring basketball and tennis, an on-site library, and marketplace.
"We at HHM are pleased to have been involved in the planning and opening of this magnificent hotel, which is emblematic of HHM's strategy of partnering with leading developers in our core, strategic markets in the Northeast to manage newly built nationally franchised hotels," said Thomas D. Reese, president of HHM. "Greater Philadelphia is one of our fast-growing clusters, with eight hotels currently under management, and numerous other hotel development projects in or around Center City Philadelphia."
