Inside, the dreamlike experience continues in the Salon des Princes clad in splendid Christmas decorations as well as in the lobby-bar. In its midst, a huge, luxuriant fir-tree 4 metres high, adorned and set a-glow by Miss Rose, inspired more than ever before by the spirit of year-end celebrations.
The Christmas tree is decked out with fabulous gifts in different reds, shiny or pearly, baubles, garlands, wooden toys, nut-crackers, rocking-horses, ice-skates, delightful little gingerbread men and irresistible characters who seem to have stepped out of children's books.
