NH Hotel Group has celebrated the achievement of the fifth star in two establishments of its NH Collection brand, located in the cities of Milan and Florence: NH Collection Milano President and NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa. During the presentation event, the Group’s Michelin 5-star chefs, Óscar Velasco (2* - Santceloni), Paco Roncero (2* - La Terraza del Casino) and Chris Naylor (1* - Vermeer), offered guests a unique gastronomic experience.
The Company remains unstoppable in its commitment to offer an unmatched hotel experience thanks to the strategic location of its hotels, opting firmly for an extraordinary service, cutting-edge technology and offering genuine cuisine of the highest quality. It is precisely this last aspect that NH Hotel Group has relied on to offer even more in two hotels that already provided excellent service.
Thus, NH Collection Milano President is now a 5-star establishment offering a genuinely local concept for the bar: Panhini. Popular in the bars of Milan during the seventies and the eighties, this Italian variety of sandwich now has its own place in the hotel. Panhini offers a wide selection of sandwiches, three of them creations of Michelin-star chefs of the Company such as Paco Roncero (2*), Óscar Velasco (2*) or Chris Naylor (1*).
The natural encounter of two Tuscan institutions, NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa, one of the oldest hotels in Italy, and Savini Tartufi, a family whose passion for truffles has been passed on from generation to generation, leads to the creation of the Savini Tartufi Truffle Restaurant. The NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa, which has also recently obtained its fifth star, now offers a gastronomic experience with a distinctly local flavour in its restaurant, open not just to hotel guests but also to citizens or tourists.
“Obtaining the fifth star in our hotels NH Collection Milano President and NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa, in Milan and Florence, respectively, is the result of the Company’s commitment to offer an extraordinary hotel experience that goes beyond our guests’ expectations. We want to exceed them and surprise our guests every time they come back to our hotels”, says Hugo Rovira, Managing Director Southern Europe and USA of NH Hotel Group.
NH Hotel Group currently operates 74 NH Collection hotels located in 49 cities in 15 countries and plans to open 9 more establishments by 2020. With these two new 5-star hotels, the Group’s NH Collection brand now has 36 hotels distinguished with the top category.
