Having previously worked in various positions in different upscale hotels around the Middle East and Africa, Firas joins the Kempinski Hotel Ajman team with a strong hospitality background, bringing 20 years of experience with him.
The Jordanian national has been loyal within the past eight years to different Starwood hotels, and prior to his appointment at Kempinski Hotel Ajman, he worked as director of revenue management in The St Regis Mauritius Resort.
Firas began his career in the industry at the young age of 16. He has worked in leading five-star hotels around the Middle East for the past 20 years, starting in the Food & Beverage department in Jordan. He was also on the opening team of Kempinski Mall of the Emirates in 2005 before working for three years in Gambia, Egypt and Mauritius.
In his new role, Firas will maximise the overall room revenue through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies, which are based on future demand forecasts, current trends and historical data. He will oversee the market share and revenue performance through proper pricing and management, whilst developing an overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
