Four Seasons Hotel Austin debuts a multi-million dollar renovation and enhancement project to its 291 guest rooms and suites. The newly unveiled design captures the essence of residential elegance in Austin’s award-winning luxury downtown hotel.
Designed with the discerning Four Seasons guest in mind, the stylish, newly renovated guest rooms pair sophisticated décor, luxurious yet innovative amenities and breathtaking views of Lady Bird Lake with intuitive Four Seasons service. Leading the way in experiential guest room experiences is the all-new, redesigned Four Seasons Beds. The signature beds have been redesigned, allowing guests to have the option to fully customize the mattress based on preference – from firm to soft. The Hotel is among the first of the brand’s US hotels to receive the specialized beds, which feature the latest technology and offer the ultimate luxury bedding.
"Four Seasons has always been a celebrated retreat in the heart of Austin, known for our intuitive service, exquisite cuisine and stylish setting,” says General Manager Rob Hagelberg. “The new luxury guest rooms have been carefully designed to elevate the already stellar guest experience and includes thoughtful touches, such as customizable beds, to ensure a sophisticated yet comfortable, stay with us.”
Additionally, in the Hotel’s on-going effort to support sustainability, Four Seasons Hotel Austin is the first hotel in Texas to implement a 100 percent renewable wooden key card. The key card – made from certified sustainable Nordic birch wood, appropriately features a guitar as a nod to the city and most importantly, helps reduce oil-based plastic waste.
Other noteworthy enhancement include high quality textures such as rich travertine, dark wood desks paired with designer chairs, and plush carpeting in muted burnt orange tones that pay homage to the city’s beloved university. Lighting, carefully selected artwork, designer fixtures and soft goods – including draperies and valences – have also been refreshed to compliment the new sophisticated palette. The guest bathrooms reflect a more spacious and modern feel with travertine tile flooring, walk-in glass showers, sliding doors and elegant dark wood vanities. Finishing touches include back-lit mirrors, upscale fixtures, high-end hardware and low-flow toilets.
