The hotel complex, continuing the bespoke trend Regent has become known for, represents a ground-breaking new addition to the region’s hospitality market and will set new standards for luxury hotel designs throughout the Adriatic.

Taking the essence of location, culture and history, and infusing it into the property’s aesthetics was the goal of the resort’s well-known and award-winning architect and world-renowned interior design teams. ReardonSmith Architects (UK) and interior designer Tino Zervudachi of Milinaric, Henry & Zervudachi (FR) united traditional architecture and contemporary lines with soft colors, elegant stone and hardwood floors. The terracotta-roofed resort was inspired by the Italianate palazzi scattered around the Boka Bay, a tribute to the area’s 400 years under Venetian rule.

“Regent Porto Montenegro combines operational excellence and hospitality expertise with the spectacular architecture and interior design reflective of its world-class designers,” said Ralf Ohletz, President of Regent Hotels & Resorts, “We are thrilled to be opening our newest bespoke resort in this emerging high-end tourism destination and look forward to welcoming our guests to our second European property.”

Boasting a central, double-height atrium, the resort offers expansive views of the sea. Guests can enjoy an Italian garden that features a private island for exclusive events and dining. The ground-floor Gourmet Corner with a waterfront terrace area, The Dining Room with delectable dishes, and The Library Bar with a kaleidoscope of beverages will provide a range of dining and entertaining options. Two hotel swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor, a signature Regent Spa featuring the most pampering treatments, as well as a fully equipped fitness center are only the beginning to an endless array of activities in and around the hotel.

Guests have direct access to the 250-berth super yacht marina and water sports center, additional restaurants and entertainment as well as three outdoor tennis courts and a 210-foot infinity outdoor pool and lounge bar that perches over the tranquil seascape within the marina village.
.
Designer, Tino Zervudachi, who has personally overseen the rejuvenation of important historic houses and decorated a range of magnificent residences and yachts, brought his expertise to this exquisite property. With experience designing bespoke rooms for Mick Jagger, Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, and other elite clients, Zervudachi has no set or defining style, but instead shares subtle links, namely sophisticated and refined details in his work. Guests will be immersed in these unique design elements when visiting the Montenegro property.

Porto Montenegro is within a three-hour flight from most European capitals and is served by three international airports; the nearest, approximately 4 miles away. Its ease of access extends waterside, with the marina just a day’s sail from some of the Mediterranean’s best cruising grounds, including the Croatian islands.
