Paulo Salvador Joins Accor as Vice President Relationship and Internet Marketing

Paulo Salvador, 40, joins Accor as Vice President
Relationship and Internet Marketing. After earning an MBA in Marketing and
Communication in Brazil, Mr. Salvador held a position of Vice President Marketing from
1989 to 1997, first at Uni Banco, then at MLab Brazil The Webvertising Co, one of Latin
America’s foremost Internet services companies.
Since 1997, he has been Vice President Marketing and Sales at Accor Latin America,
where he helped to position and develop Accor and its Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure,
Parthenon and Formule 1 brands.
Commenting on Mr. Salvador’s appointment, Eric Lepleux, Executive Vice President
Hotels and Brands Marketing, said: “We are delighted to be able to draw on Paulo’s
expertise and ten years of international experience to launch a new vision and new
projects in the areas of customer loyalty and Web-based relationship marketing.”
