Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) announced today that its global powerhouse, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, continues to enhance its portfolio with the re-opening of the Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel following a complete nine-month, multi-million Euro renovation. This renovation is part of a multi-year revitalisation of the Sheraton brand through which Starwood and its owner partners have invested more than US$6 billion. Sheraton now stands stronger than ever with the most robust portfolio in its history and is experiencing record-breaking growth, putting the brand on track to open its 500th hotel in 2015.

Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel

A gathering place for golfers, business and leisure travellers, as well as the local community, Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel offers a vibrant, open atmosphere with relaxing views of the golf green and surrounding Mediterranean garden. The hotel comprises 93 elegant guests rooms, including 23 suites, all equipped with the signature all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper™ Bed. The refurbished rooms feature a harmonious blend of contemporary design with a warm palette, as well as large terrace doors that open onto views of the garden, pool or golf course.

A short drive away from Palma de Mallorca and within the prestigious villa district of Son Vida, the golf-inclusive hotel is owned by Arabella Hospitality Group. The hotel is located next to the 18th hole of the Arabella Golf Course Son Vida – and offers guests free play at 63 holes on four courses (Son Vida, Son Muntaner, Son Quint and Son Quint Pitch & Putt) alongside complimentary shuttle transfers from the hotel.

The hotel introduced Shine Spa for Sheraton, offering a lively yet relaxing spa experience after a day of golf and sun in Mallorca. The spa comprises four treatment rooms, a new indoor pool, sauna and steam bath, a 24-hour fitness pavilion, and guests can choose from an extensive menu of facial and body treatments using products from Germaine de Capuccini and Phytomer. Other facilities at the hotel include a fitness pavilion with the latest power and cardio equipment, two outdoor pools, two tennis courts, as well as a kids’ club with its own pool and playground.

At Es Carbó restaurant, guests can enjoy healthy Sheraton breakfast selections and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine alongside views of the golf green. Bodega del Green serves Spanish classics, tapas and wines within its cosy interiors featuring Andalusian touches. Located in the lobby, Bar 18+Uno is a convivial meeting place and venue for Sheraton Social Hour, where management bring guests together to socialise over a glass of wine several times weekly.

Inside the spacious new lobby, guests have complimentary wireless internet access with the signature Link@SheratonSM experienced with Microsoft – a social, technology hub where guests can stay connected to what matters most during their stay.
