IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)] one of the world’s largest hotel companies announces the opening of the new Holiday Inn® NYC - Lower East Side, in the thriving Lower East Side neighborhood close to major businesses, universities and Manhattan attractions.

The 132-room, eight-story hotel at 150 Delancey Street, features a fresh, modern and open floor plan with signature design and branded elements throughout the space. In the lobby area, guests will find lobby seating, a grab & go café featuring a 24x7 market, and a new approach to the business center via an eBar, all in one cohesive space to allow guests to eat/drink, relax and have fun. Leisure travelers will discover that the hotel is close to many of the area’s attractions, including the Williamsburg Bridge and to popular New York City neighborhoods such as SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown and Tribeca.

The new hotel is in line with the Holiday Inn brand family’s $1 billion global brand relaunch, the largest project of its kind in hospitality history. The relaunch continues to drive increased quality and consistency across the global portfolio. The hotel features a contemporary image with emphasis on arrival and welcome services, guestroom and guest bath comfort and a redesigned logo and signage.

The Holiday Inn NYC - Lower East Side hotel features the Retro Bar & Grill where guests can enjoy American influenced cuisine during breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant offers the standard Holiday Inn Best-4-Breakfastâ menu, with signature items such as Rainforest Alliance™ Certified coffee, Cinnamon Supreme French Toast™ and Skillet Inspirations™. Kids 12 and younger eat free at Holiday Inn when ordering from the kids’ menu in the hotel restaurant and accompanied by a dining adult. Holiday Inn hotels feature a residential atmosphere that is warm, trend forward and comfortable. Guest beds are made using crisp, white bedding with pillows that come in two comfort levels: “soft” and “firm.” The residential design includes business-focused necessities such as an ergonomic workstation, data ports and complimentary USA TODAY newspapers. The bathrooms include a multifunctional showerhead, as well as a signature shower curtain with curved rod, and Bath & Body Works® amenities. Additionally, each room has standard Holiday Inn guestroom accommodations – comfortable double, queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, hairdryer, micro fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.
