The Spa is Re-Branded Preferred Boutique during the Opening

The Spa at Château Élan celebrated its 20th Anniversary Monday evening with a reception attended by the board of the International Spa Association (ISPA).

Ella Stimpson, Chairman of ISPA cut the ribbon to mark the grand re-opening of the Spa Mansion after its $3 million dollar restoration. Joining Ms. Stimpson was the President of ISPA, Lynne Walker-McNees, Château Élan’s Managing Partner Henk Evers and two associates of Château Élan that participated in the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting 20 years ago, Senior Sales Manager, Jody Scott and Property Superintendent, Mike Brisbois.

The ceremony took place at the 35,000 sq. ft. Spa Mansion and continued with a reception inside the Spa’s restaurant, Fleur de Lis. The renovation to the Spa at Château Élan included a makeover of 14 guest suites at the Spa, the Fleur de Lis restaurant and 35 treatment rooms. A subtle theme throughout the spa is the feel of water. Restful, tranquil swirl patterns are found in the carpet, wall coverings and furnishings. Calming shades of blue, sand and sea glass are dominant throughout the rooms, lobby and waiting area. “The Spa at Château Élan is just perfect” stated Ms. Stimpson. “It has all the graciousness and style you expect from the Deep South - from the sweeping views in the quiet room of the lawn and wooded lake to the exquisite warm light blues and browns of the understated but luxurious decor.”

Doug Rollins, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Château Élan, announced during the ceremony that the Spa has rebranded. “We are thrilled to unveil our newly renovated luxury spa as a Preferred Boutique Member. The intimate nature of the spa with its 14 guest suites positions it perfectly into the Boutique Collection, giving the hotel the independent identity it deserves on the 3500 acre Château Élan Estate,” said Rollins.

Also having the pleasure of a treatment at the spa Stimpson went on to say “From the genuine yet formal greetings as you enter and are walked through processing for your spa experience to the beautifully decorated, warm and lavish treatment rooms. But of course what makes the journey worth the beauty is the skillfully executed treatment which is designed to specifically fit the needs of your body at the time of service. Happy 20th anniversary to the Spa at Château Élan. I've discovered one of the South’s hidden spa gems!”
