The InterContinental New York Times Square, which opened in New York City in July 2010, has been accepted as the newest member of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI). Rising 36 stories above the world-famous Times Square district, the property is the largest new-build hotel to open in Manhattan since 2002. The hotel, which features 607 luxurious guest rooms and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, will now receive dedicated National Sales services and support by ALHI and its professional sales force throughout North America to the meetings and incentive/recognition marketplace.

InterContinental New York Times Square becomes ALHI’s newest member hotel in New York City, joining the AAA Four-Diamond Jumeirah Essex House overlooking Central Park, the exceptional Loews Regency Hotel New York in the heart of New York City’s exclusive Park Avenue area, and the spectacular 896-room New York Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.

Upon receiving its certification the hotel will be the largest new-build hotel to achieve LEED status on the Eastern Seaboard.
