Immersive Video Series Highlights Compelling and Unique Destinations on 2011 Voyages

Azamara Club Cruises, known for delivering destination immersive travel experiences for up-market travelers, has launched a series of engaging videos called “You’ll Love Where We Take You.” The series, hosted by Azamara’s Manager of Deployment and Destinations Claudius Docekal, provides greater in-depth knowledge about the compelling attractions at the cruise line’s ports of call, where more than 45 percent of port visits feature overnight and late night stays in 2011. Available now for viewing at http://AzamaraDestinationImmersion.com/DestinationVideos, each video also offers information about specific itineraries to help travel agent partners sell Azamara’s distinctive travel offering, while providing educational tips for guests to plan their upcoming voyage.

“Azamara Club Cruises sails to more than 50 countries and 170 ports in 2011, including many unique destinations that larger ships cannot reach,” said Larry Pimentel, president and CEO of Azamara Club Cruises. “Claudius, having spent time in most of the destinations we visit around the world, is one of our most knowledgeable travel experts and provides invaluable advice on what to do and when to do it, to make the most of a day or night in port. With more overnight and late-night stays, Azamara offers guests the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in local cultures and nightlife for a truly unforgettable experience.”

Each three- to five-minute video provides travel agents, up-market travelers and guests a comprehensive overview of a specific itineraryaboard Azamara Journey or Azamara Quest, as well as insight and ideas for immersive and unique experiences while in port. Mr. Docekal provides a day-by-day account of the shoreside and shipboard activities available for guests to enjoy and offers his personal suggestions of the not-to-be-missed and little-known gems at select ports of call, nearly all of which he has visited and explored. As part of the “You’ll Love Where We Take You” series, vignette showcase each of Azamara’s 2011 itineraries to offer up-market travelers a supplemental guide to help them choose the ideal voyage fit for their interests.

Travelers exploring Azamara’s electronic destination guide, available at http://azamaraclubcruises.com/brochure, may simply click on an itinerary header to access that itinerary’s “You’ll Love Where We Take You” video. They also may be viewed on YouTube, CruisingPower.com or at http://AzamaraDestinationImmersion.com. The 2012 “You’ll Love Where We Take You” videos are currently in production.
