The JW Marriott Chicago, the newest luxury hotel in Chicago, has teamed up with the house of Dom Perignon to host an exclusive event from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, in the hotel's Lounge. The event will feature the new collection of limited edition bottles, A Tribute to Andy Warhol by Dom Perignon.
As a tribute to the influential artist and cultural figure, Dom Perignon and the Andy Warhol Foundation enlisted the help of the Design Laboratory at Central St. Martin's School of Art and Design to reinterpret the timeless Dom Perignon bottle incorporating Warhol's colorful silk screen touches made famous by his Campbell's soup can series.
To complement the specially-priced champagne, The Lounge will offer an extensive array of Warhol-inspired appetizers including the Warhol Rainbow Roll ($15); Purple Peruvian Crispy Chips with truffle oil ($5); Foie Gras Torchon with jams and jellies and toasted Brioche ($18); and Valrhona Chocolate Fondue with local fruit and artisan pastries ($10).
The limited edition collection of Dom Perignon Vintage 2002 bottles come in six colors: red, blue, green, turquoise, purple and yellow. The collection is available at fine purveyors across the nation.
To continue your evening, take advantage of the Chicago luxury hotel deals available at this newly opened venue. Guests can enjoy a romantic getaway, a shopping trip on Michigan Avenue, a sight-seeing tour or simply a weekend away.
