Preferred Hotels & Resorts, a brand of Preferred Hotel Group and a collection of more than 200 of the world's most desirable destinations and newly discovered havens, is pleased to announce its second member in Taipei – The Landis Taipei Hotel.
Reflecting an elegant French Art Deco style, The Landis Taipei Hotel offers guests a quiet haven of legendary service in the midst of the business and entertainment district. The hotel's 209 guestrooms have been completely refurbished with cutting-edge technology, including complimentary Internet access.
The hotel's dining outlets are Paris 1930, which serves the finest French cuisine; Tien Hsiang Lo, which provides authentic Hangchow delights; and La Brasserie, a French-European restaurant that specializes in provincial cuisine. There is also a bar with jazz piano entertainment.
Three functions rooms provide banqueting facilities for up to 300 guests. Recreational facilities include The Landis Spa, which offers a wide variety of refreshing and rejuvenating programs, and The Health Center, which is equipped with a gym, sauna, and sundeck.
"As the city's accommodation selections increase, The Landis will continue to be one of the landmark hotels in Taipei, known for its service excellence for over 30 years," said Mark Simmons, Area Managing Director – Asia, Preferred Hotel Group. "Taipei's business travel remains strong and we are confident that a second Preferred Hotels & Resorts member in the city will be welcomed by our corporate sales team."
"The Landis Taipei Hotel and Preferred Hotel Group strategic partnership paves the way for an increased global presence," said Joseph Tan, general manager at The Landis Taipei Hotel. "It significantly enhances our marketing reach and brand recognition while providing worldwide clientele with greater choice of destinations and experiences."
