This summer, Doral Golf Resort & Spa, a Marriott Resort is challenging golfers to some friendly competition on the links. The premier Miami resort will host two days of tournaments:
-- Summer Solstice: On Tuesday, June 29, golfers are invited to play three of Doral's championship courses - TPC Blue Monster Golf Course at Doral, Great White and Gold - in one day. The cost for play is $175 per person for the three courses which is less than one individual round on the TPC Blue Monster at Doral (regularly $210)*. Overall, guests save nearly 60% on the 54 holes, not including the continental breakfast, box lunch, hot dogs and drinks that will be served. Tee times start at 7 a.m., noon and 5 p.m.
-- Patriot Golf Day: On Sunday, September 5, Doral will take part in an all-day benefit including golf tournaments and contests for closest to the pin and longest drive on the TPC Blue Monster at Doral and the newly-renovated Gold course. Cost for participation is $150 per person for one tournament including lunch*. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Tee times start at 8 a.m.
