Omni Hotels & Resorts Names AvreaFoster Agency of Record

Omni Hotels & Resorts, one of the leading luxury hotel brands in North America, has selected AvreaFoster as its advertising agency of record.

Working collaboratively with the marketing team at Omni, AvreaFoster will manage marketing strategy, branding, advertising, social media, and promotional activities for the company - which includes all corporate initiatives as well as marketing projects for Omni's 45 North American properties. AvreaFoster will lead a multi-agency team that includes Dallas-based Asher Media, who will manage traditional media placement, and New York-based Affect Strategies, who will lead new media efforts.

AvreaFoster was chosen after a multi-phased agency evaluation process that included capability presentations from several agencies.

"After reviewing the agencies in contention, it was clear that AvreaFoster's capabilities best aligned with our current and future needs," says Tom Santora, chief marketing officer and senior vice president, sales for Omni Hotels & Resorts. "AvreaFoster will assist with big-picture strategy, drive our day-to-day advertising campaigns and help us extend our reach into digital and social media. It's a perfect fit."

AvreaFoster will help launch a variety of marketing initiatives, including a multi-media campaign targeting meeting planners, the development of Omni's new Mokara Hotel & Spa brand and the creation of materials for the Omni Dallas Hotel, the company's new convention center hotel scheduled for an early 2012 opening.

"Our team is eager to roll up our sleeves and get to work," says Darren Avrea, the agency's chairman. "We're ready to bring new ideas to the table that will help Omni extend their brand, expand their reach and exceed their marketing and business objectives."
