For the twelfth consecutive year, properties by Asian-based luxury hotel and resort operator GHM [General Hotels Management] prove themselves to be among the best in the industry, through recognition on the prestigious annual Condé Nast Traveler Gold List. GHM’s impressive portfolio of distinctive and exclusive hotels consistently win travel and lifestyle awards and this year The Datai, Langkawi and The Chedi Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai shine on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List.
The 16th Annual Gold List was compiled from 25,000 reader’s votes on the world’s best hotels, best resorts, mountain lodges and country inns. The Gold List pays tribute to the overall winners, and highest scorers in their respective regional categories, in terms of room quality, service, food, location, design and activities on offer.
