Rezidor SAS Hospitality, one of the fastest growing hospitality companies in the world, received a prestigious Russia Travel Industry Award at the MITT2006 fair in Moscow. The company has been awarded the ”Best International Hotel Company”. This prestigious award will take a prominent place among numerous awards received by Rezidor SAS.
The Award, presented during the ceremony at the MITT fair in Moscow end March, is based on a survey conducted by ITE- International Travel Exhibition Company and Travel Trade Gazette (TTG) Russia, a leading industry trade publication. The application form was published in Travel Trade Gazette Russia which has the circulation of more then 12 000 copies. The tour operators and agencies in Russia, Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic countries were asked to award scores to their favourite companies in 13 nominations and a number of categories, such as best airline, best international and domestic hotels.
Marko Hytönen, Area Vice President, Rezidor SAS, says: “We are delighted to receive the ”Best International Hotel Company” award. Through extensive training of our staff and by implementing innovative service concepts we guarantee that the top quality experience and the highest level of service is delivered to our guests”.
In 2006, the company will continue with its vigorous development strategy with an increased focus on developing Russia, CIS and East European markets while retaining a strong presence in the home markets. The company already operates six hotels in Russia and have recently signed two new deals in Moscow to develop the Radisson SAS brand. A newly build Park Inn opened its doors in Ekaterinburg in March, marking an important entry of the company in the mid-market segment in Russia.
