Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Ian P. Heffron as General Manager for The Melrose Hotel, Washington, D.C. The 240 guestroom hotel features a sophisticated and classically charming atmosphere for guests who want to be near Georgetown and within walking distance to the pulse of D.C. business. The hotel is located in the heart of one of D.C.'s most notable neighborhoods along Pennsylvania Avenue.
Mr. Heffron joins Crestline with more than 10 years of hospitality industry operations and management experience. He was most recently the General Manager for the Henley Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. Prior to that position he was a General Manager for Potomac Hospitality where he managed several different Washington D.C. properties. He also served as General Manager at the Sheraton Baltimore North, Towson, MD.
"Ian brings an extensive background in both the D.C. market, as well as the experience of running an upscale boutique hotel," said James Carroll, Chief Operating Officer, Crestline Hotels & Resorts. "We are confident that his operations experience, revenue management skills, and attention to guest service will provide dynamic leadership for this property," added Carroll.
