Loyal to its motto “All around the world, Unique in the World”, Relais & Châteaux extends an invitation to a journey through the pages of the new 2010 version of its Guide. It contains new sections and a prestigious contribution from the wine-maker and internationally renowned actress, Carole Bouquet.
After Douglas Kennedy, it’s the turn of Carole Bouquet, wine maker and internationally renowned actress, to act as the ambassadress of Relais & Châteaux in 2010. She signed the preface to the Guide and will attend press conferences in Paris, New York, London and Milan.
For Jaume Tàpies, International President of Relais & Châteaux, “We came up with the idea of a Guide that is both practical and elegant in order to enable each reader to visualise himself in the unique universe of Relais & Châteaux. Present in 57 countries, Relais & Châteaux is undoubtedly the most wonderful way of exploring the world.”
For Carole Bouquet, Relais & Châteaux ambassadress in 2010, “When I travel, I love little personal touches. I love people who are in thrall to their profession. I love the intimacy of a dinner in the kitchen with superb chefs. I love the luxury of feeling at home wherever I am in the world.”
The new elements in the Relais & Châteaux 2010 Guide
Focus on the family
Sharing privileged moments with your family is extremely important. That’s why the new issue of the Guide has two pages dedicated to families and highlights activities for children.
Localisation: maps at the back of the Guide
For greater clarity and effectiveness, the geographical maps have been regrouped in an atlas at the end of the Guide. It’s now so easy to travel the world...
Practical information
Published with the help of Young & Rubicam, 780,000 copies of the Guide are distributed in 5 languages (French, English, German, Spanish and Italian) in almost 60 countries.
The new issue compromises:
• Special telephone numbers for the pages of some members.
• A special email address on each of the member’s pages
