SpaFinder, Inc. and Leading Spas today announced that the companies will partner to present Leading Spa’s collection of the most exquisite spas in the world to millions of consumers in 27 countries who select and book spa vacations at SpaFinder.com and its websites in Europe and Japan.
The joint marketing program will showcase significantly more of the finest destination and resort spas around the globe to SpaFinder.com’s vast online audience. Leading Spas is the first global accreditation for the spa industry and was established by The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., the prestigious luxury hospitality organization representing more than 450 of the world's finest hotels, resorts and spas.
“Leading Spa properties are without question the best of the best”, said Pete Ellis, President and CEO of SpaFinder, Inc. “Connecting these properties with SpaFinder’s online community affirms our position as the premiere global spa and wellness resource.”
“We are most excited about forming this new alliance with SpaFinder”, said Claudia Kozma Kaplan, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications of The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. "We are especially delighted to be able to provide the opportunity for exposure to our Leading Spas via this universally recognized resource for spa-goers.”
The Leading Hotels of the World began its global evaluation and certification program for the spa industry in 2005. Member spas undergo an inspection by an elite panel of spa experts where more than 200 areas are reviewed for certification, from the reservation process to the atmosphere of the treatment room to the treatment itself.
