Emerald Monkey Eco-Luxe Resort and Residences Brings Bali's 'Glam-Organic' Lifestyle to Panama

Exquisitely wrapped in a Balinese effervescence, Emerald Monkey Eco-Luxe Resort and Residences will be a world class, carbon neutral footprint with a sustainable lifestyle. Located on Isla Pastor in the Archipelago region of Bocas Del Toro, Panama, is the opportunity to live and stay in a harmonious environment with nature that is similar to Bali, Indonesia. When you look at the world globe, Panama and Bali are very close in latitude with Bali at 8 degrees and Panama at 9 degrees, making them sisters climatologically, environmentally, and ecologically.

Emerald Monkey gives an individual the opportunity to experience Bali firsthand. Bali is renowned for its diverse and sophisticated art forms, such as painting, sculpture, woodcarving and handcrafts. Emerald Monkey has incorporated all of this in each villa. For example, hand painted fabrics on the interior ceiling, natural woods as the base of each floor, hand carved stone baths in the amazing outdoor bath garden and authentic statues as decor. Never before has a villa/resort community been presented that is so completely authentic to the Balinese lifestyle. The term "glam-organic" fits appropriately for the style of architecture and interiors chosen for these beautiful villas.

The team found one of the top architecture and interior design firms in Bali to design the project. Sha Interiors headed by Anita Dewi did a remarkable job in designing and authenticating the project to make it true Balinese. It is so exciting to have the luxury of Bali along with the commitment to the roots of Bali's origination as the first true green-living community in Panama.

CEO/Founder, Kimberly DeLape states "The experience begins as you walk through the beautiful hand-carved front door in full view of an authentic art piece. The emotion of tranquility immediately begins, tension is released and your mind becomes clear. The excitement of having this kind of opportunity so readily available and so close to many parts of the world is thrilling for the conscious consumer that would love to live Bali and to thrive in a glamorously green, glam-organic, eco-friendly Caribbean paradise!"

Villas at Emerald Monkey start at mid $500's up to $2.5 million. Infrastructure is underway and the resort is expected to open in the second quarter of 2010.
