Three-year deal will standardise procurement processes across FTSE 100 company’s international offices

BravoSolution (www.bravosolution.com), the international leader in Supply Management software and services, today announces that Compass Group is deploying the BravoSolution eSourcing platform as part of its drive to standardise internal procurement processes across its international offices. The platform will enable the food management and hospitality provider to develop greater transparency across the 60 countries it operates in, and will improve efficiencies through simplified purchasing processes.

The deal follows a tender involving five organisations and is for an initial three-year period. Compass Group, which makes food and non-food purchases in the region of £4 billion a year, will receive ongoing support and training from BravoSolution throughout the three-year term.

As well as cost savings, Compass Group expects BravoSolution’s bespoke suite of consolidated tools to provide tangible improvements in both the quality of procurement processes and visibility across its sites in each country. The eSourcing platform will also provide requirements and specifications for each tender globally, as well as contract award and management.

“BravoSolution stood head and shoulders above the competition and will really help us to take eSourcing to the next level,” says Richard Page, International Purchasing Director for Food at Compass Group. “Many of the options we looked at were off-the-shelf solutions which required us to make significant changes to our procurement processes. With the BravoSolution platform, it was clear that we could easily tailor it to meet our own needs, therefore avoiding lengthy and costly changes to our procurement procedures. Combined with the fact that the company clearly understood the needs of our procurement officers and is able to provide in-country support across a number of key regions, the decision to work with BravoSolution was an easy one to take.”

“Our business model means that we need to purchase a wide range of products and services across the globe, making international sourcing and procurement processes very complex,”
continues Page.

“We are confident that the BravoSolution platform will enable us to simplify our global system and improve the terms of deals with our suppliers. The fact that a large proportion of our supplier base already use the BravoSolution platform, gives us the confidence that this restructuring will be even easier to roll-out than originally planned.”

Nader Sabbaghian, CEO of BravoSolution, adds: “By working closely with Compass Group, we will be able to provide software and consultancy services that are tailored exactly to their international needs. Standardisation of procurement processes can be a challenge for any organisation, but for those operating in multiple countries it can seem an almost impossible task. We are confident that the BravoSolution eSourcing platform will enable Compass Group to tackle this challenge head-on, whilst meeting its business demands and ensuring the company receives the best return on investment from its suppliers.”
