Readers of Travel and Leisure, a prestigious and well known travel magazine, have voted for the best 500 hotels around the world – and once again, the King David Jerusalem, flagship of the Dan Hotels, is the only Israeli hotel to be included. The 1930's property that boasts rich interiors steeped in glamour and luxury chalked up a total score of 82.88 based on questions regarding rooms, facilities, services and value.

With 237 guestrooms and located just a stone’s throw from the Old City of Jerusalem, this hotel, which is also a member of ‘The Leading Hotels of the World’, offers luxury, service and cuisine of the highest standard. Its interiors are unique and exquisite and a long list of heads of state, celebrities and dignitaries has graced its halls from the very beginning. The hotel also provides a welcome base for a large number of returning guests.

Mr. Haim Shkedi, the hotel’s general manager, commented today: “We’re very pleased and proud to be included in this survey and to have reached such a high score. Results as they say speak for themselves – we really do offer the best there is in Jerusalem!”

About the Dan Hotels:

Dan Hotels, Israel, with 13 hotels around the country, is Israel’s leading luxury hotel chain, promising guests a splendid stay with superb service and accommodation and generally an experience beyond the expected.
