The Trumbull Marriott recently hosted a grand re-opening party to celebrate the renovation of its ballroom, meeting spaces, and guest rooms, it was announced by Paul McNeil, General Manager (pictured at left). The party was attended by over 250 guests including First Selectman of Trumbull Ray Baldwin (right), and John Marriott III, CEO of JWM Family Enterprises (center).
The Trumbull Marriott spent $10 million in renovating the hotel which took place over a seven-month period. The hotel now offers the newest meeting space and guest rooms in the Trumbull/Bridgeport area.
The hotel's Grand Ballroom is 6,534 square feet and can accommodate up to 700 people. The property features a total of 18,000 square feet of meeting space broken up into 17 meeting rooms. The decor of the space is truly elegant and contemporary featuring wall coverings with warm golden tones, carpeting in rich red and gold, and mahogany wood moldings and doors. The wall sconces are black and aged bronze.
The hotel's guest rooms now feature the Marriott's trademark Revive® bedding as well as spacious work desks, coffee maker/tea service, high-speed Internet access, and more.
