For 25 years The Bombay Brasserie has been one of the world’s most iconic restaurants; from European royalty and captains of industry to Hollywood legends such as Tom Cruise, Will Smith and Marlon Brando, all have made a point of heading to SW7 for some of the finest food outside the Subcontinent. On 10th August 2008 however, this celebrated eatery will close its doors – and when it re-opens three months later, it will be better and more aesthetically stunning than ever before.

Under the guidance of Director of Operations Arun Harnal, the changes to the interior of the restaurant will be radical, offering diners a larger, airier and more spectacular space in which to dine.

Overseeing this radical new look is Hong Kong based Chhada Siembieda & Associates, one of the world's most reputable interior design and hospitality development firms.

However, it is not just the surroundings that will be revitalised. The Bombay Brasserie will launch an exciting new menu under the extremely capable guidance of Grand Chef of Taj Group of Hotels, Hemant Oberoi, who has transformed the food habits in India. Mr Oberoi has personally cooked for such world figures as Bill Clinton and served as a judge on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Widely credited with pioneering the trend of alternative Indian cuisine, he will be drawing on his vast experience and unrivalled creativity to create a superb new menu for The Bombay Brasserie.

Says Arun Harnal: “These are exciting times for The Bombay Brasserie. We are confident that these changes will please our regulars and new visitors alike and mark the start of another 25 glorious years.”
