Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has opened a new luxury Swissôtel Bremen in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. Bremen’s historical market square, with its famous town hall and Roland statue, designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004, is just a few minutes’ walk from the Swissôtel. The hotel’s central location and proximity to the main station is ideal for both business and tourist visitors.

“The Swissôtel Bremen will be a great addition in Germany to our already successful hotels in Duesseldorf/Neuss and Berlin”, says Meinhard Huck, President Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts. “We are continuing our growth strategy in Germany and are currently developing a new Swissôtel in Dresden.”

“A passion for perfection” is the company’s philosophy and Rogier Hurkmans, General Manager of Swissôtel Bremen, with his team of highly-qualified and motivated staff, ensures that this philosophy is lived. “Our hotel will set new quality standards in accommodation and service in Bremen. Furthermore, the city is more attractive than ever before and figures for business trips, conferences and tourism are steadily rising.”

230 elegant rooms and suites with state-of-the-art amenities await discerning guests. Standard facilities include flat screen TV, high-speed wireless internet, ISDN, convenient work areas and the Swiss Business Advantage rooms include espresso machines. The Swissôtel Bremen offers its conference guests eight modern, multifunctional meeting rooms for up to 1,000 participants and a ballroom accommodating 700 guests. One of the hotel’s highlights is the cinema lounge, available for presentations and film screenings at private and business events.

Executive Chef Matthias Serwill, who has gained experience in various first class restaurants, guides the hotel’s culinary success. Matthias is passionate about maintaining the high standards set for Swissôtel’s cuisine and aims to establish the Hillmann’s restaurant as the gourmet restaurant of Bremen.

The name “Hillmann’s” stands for the long history and great tradition of the Hillmann’s Hotel, which stood on the site of the present hotel and was recognized as one of the city’s finest. Caruso, Crown Prince Wilhelm and the Rockefellers were all guests.
