Hospitality Management Holdings announced today the opening of EWA Hotel Apartments in Bahrain - the group’s first hotel in the country. Our objective with EWA Hotel Apartments is to offer the comfort, flexibility and warmth of a home with the service and convenience of a hotel.’
The brand new EWA Hotel Apartments has been designed to be a perfect sanctuary for the corporate travelers as well as for tourists on a holiday. Speaking at the soft opening, Hameed Al Alawi, General Manager, EWA Hotel Apartments said, ‘Intimate and stylish living areas, spacious bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms with all the benefits of a good hotel make EWA Hotel Apartments the perfect choice for both businessmen and families.’
Located in the heart of Manama City, close to Bahrain Financial Harbour, the deluxe property is well surrounded by banks and other commercial establishments. Elaborating on its excellent location Hameed said, ‘Overlooking the pristine waters of the Gulf Sea with beautiful views of the famed pearl dhows, EWA Hotel Apartments blends all modern facilities with the finest traditional Arabic hospitality, creating an unforgettable experience for guests.’
The hotel includes 20 well-appointed Hotel Apartments and 60 Deluxe Rooms. Each apartment is beautifully laid out and ensures a ‘home away from home’ experience. Regional tourism is a significant source of income for Bahrain’s booming economy. The Bahraini market benefits from substantial incoming tourists from Saudi Arabia through the causeway linking both countries. A massive expansion of Bahrain airport is currently underway and on completion of the first phase will raise capacity to 15 million passengers. In addition, it will increase the number of aircraft hangars and bridges to 73 compared to 21 airlines operating in 2006.
Also, Formula One Grand Prix has put Bahrain on the world map. The number of visitors to the country started soaring considerably after the launch of the F1 circuit.
