A world-renowned modern dance troupe, TAO Dance Theater is famed for its minimalist philosophy and understated aesthetics, as well as TAO Studio’s Circular Movement system. Drawing inspiration from this pioneering wellness concept, The Circles is an evolution of the hotel's Intelligent Movement programmes.
In ancient Chinese philosophy, the circle symbolises the cyclical nature of existence, where every ending is a new beginning and the universe is in perpetual motion. In The Circles, every inch of the body from head to toe is engaged in drawing circles and following them through, like waves that flow with the power to transform and help the individual find tranquillity.
The Circles private session

TAO Dance Theater is a full-time contemporary dance company founded by Tao Ye, Duan Ni and Wang Hao in 2008. It is the first contemporary dance company in China to be invited to perform at the Lincoln Center Art Festival in the United States, the Edinburgh International Art Festival in the United Kingdom, the Sydney Opera House in Australia and the Théâtre de la Ville in France.
