On 9 March 2022, the Guide Michelin revealed who the new stars of the German restaurant scene would be.
The “Français” at the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof, which is headed up by Patrick Bittner, was able to retain its star. Patrick Bittner, who fires the enthusiasm of guests with his creations inspired by French haute cuisine, was awarded his first star by the Michelin jury as long ago as 2009.
Marcus Bernhardt, CEO of Deutsche Hospitality, said: “We would like to congratulate Patrick Bittner on his award. He acts as a real calling card for our Steigenberger Icons brand by providing cookery with a modern touch. I have no doubt that he will continue to create new highlights and fresh impetuses in future as he strives to expand upon the winning combination of quality paired with culinary science and excellence. This will help turn our Steigenberger Icon in Frankfurt into a true icon indeed.”
Patrick Bittner took over as Head Chef of the Français at the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof in 2000.
In addition to the Guide Michelin star, he has already been awarded 17 points in the Gault&Millau Restaurant Guide for his culinary art at the Français.
