GOLDEN TULIP INTRODUCES FIRST ROYAL TULIP IN AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

Golden Tulip Hospitality launches its new international luxury brand with the first Royal Tulip Amsterdam Symphony. Construction started with a celebration on September 20th 2006 at the premises. The hotel is due to open its doors in 2009

Amersfoort (NL), Lausanne (CH) 21 September 2006, Golden Tulip Hospitality is proud to announce the introduction of the first ROYAL TULIP in the heart of the financial centre of Amsterdam.

The hotel will be called the Royal Tulip Amsterdam Symphony and will open its doors in the spring of 2009.

It is a part of a multifunctional project named Amsterdam Symphony located in the heart of the financial business district of Amsterdam Zuidas. The developers are Bouwfonds MAB Ontwikkeling CVG BV and Trimp & Van Tartwijk Property Development BV. The project will consist of two towers destined for private residential use, an office building and the hotel. The hotel will be fully operated by Golden Tulip Hospitality Management BV.

The 13.000 m² Royal Tulip Amsterdam Symphony will be designed to attract mainly business individuals and groups. The hotel will consist of 210 guest rooms fully equipped for all the desires of business travelers who intend to stay for short or long periods. The hotel facilities will include an executive lounge, a luxury A-la-carte and an All-day dining restaurant and a bar/lounge ideal for both guests and employees of surrounding company buildings.

In addition, four different types of meeting rooms will be available for all types of events and meetings, hosting up to 355 delegates. For relaxation purposes the hotel will offer a wellness and recreational area of 500 m² ideal for the guests that need to escape from the day-to-day hectic business life.
