David Stein, the CEO and founder of Stein Hotels, the small luxury lifestyle hotel group, has announced the acquisition of three additional properties in central London bringing its total there to 5 hotels and the entire portfolio across Europe to 21 hotels, 17 in operation and 4 under development. Separately, the Group also has announced expansion plans to build its portfolio to 50 luxury hotels in Europe over the next five years, and to expand into North America including the USA, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

The Stein Group has acquired The Royal Park Hotel, The Cranley and The Elizabeth, together with Harte Holdings, an Irish property investment and development company.

The Royal Park Hotel (http://royalpark.steinhotels.com ) - is one of London’s finest townhouses, with 48 rooms and suites. Located in Westbourne Terrace, the hotel is only a stone’s throw away from Hyde Park and is quintessentially English with Beaudesert four-poster beds and complimentary daily afternoon tea, canapes and champagne every evening for its hotel guests.

The Cranley (http://cranley.steinhotels.com ) - is located in South Kensington, one of London’s finest neighbourhoods, and is surrounded by London’s very best museums. With 39 rooms and suites, and furnished with wonderful antiques, The Cranley has an understated elegance and air of sophistication with striking combinations of colours derived from the original 19th-century floor tiles in the hotel's entrance hall. Like the Royal Park Hotel, the Cranley also offers its hotel guests complimentary afternoon tea, canapes and champagne.

The Elizabeth
is a 42-bedroom mid-range hotel in Westminster, close to Belgravia. Essentially English in character, The Elizabeth offers hotel guests a warm and inviting atmosphere that is complemented by fine prints of historic figures and furnishings that are conducive to a mid 19th-century London townhouse. It will not come under the Stein Hotels brand at this time, however; rather, it will be refurbished and converted into a luxury hotel in the near future.

With a view to further consolidating Stein Hotels activities and expansion, David Stein has appointed David Fardon as Marketing & PR Director, and Regis Lecendreux as Regional Director of Operations for France and Monaco.

Born in the UK, David Fardon has more than 10 years marketing experience, including time at Stoke Park Club and subsequently COMO Hotels and Resorts where he was responsible for global marketing and communications, including launching one of the first foreign-owned hotels in Bhutan.
Regis Lecendreux, a French national, has extensive knowledge of the French market and before joining Stein Hotels managed prestigious luxury properties in Paris, including the Lancaster, the Montalambert and the Hotel Castille.
