Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Patrick-Denis Finet as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Milan which is scheduled to open in 2013. His appointment is effective from 11 June 2012.
Mr Finet has over 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. He joined Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2003, and has held a variety of senior management positions including General Manager of the Group’s award-winning resort in Chiang Mai and General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya, Mexico. He joins Mandarin Oriental, Milan from his role as General Manager, Corporate where he has been responsible for providing operational input for Mandarin Oriental, Paris, the Group’s most recent European opening, which is gaining significant accolades.
Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Mr Finet held various General Manager roles with the Khalifa Group and was General Manager of Le Prince Maurice Hotel in Mauritius.
