Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong is offering diners a host of special culinary experiences and tempting offers throughout the summer season.

Buffet tables at Café Kool will get a tangy and spicy kick between 10 and 23 August, as guest Chef Suparman from Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa makes a special appearance with his Malaysian cuisine bursting with inimitable flavours. From 1 to 31 August, Chef Patrizio Roncato of Angelini will bring the guests the freshest rendition of the much sought-after black truffle paired with crayfish, for the price of just HK$880 per person and HK$1,240 per person with 4 glasses of paired wines. The four-course set dinner menu features Crayfish, Cucumber Infusion and Black Truffle; Mezzi Paccheri Pasta Stuffed with Rabbit Rogout, Black Truffle and Crayfish; Skate Fish and Black Truffle and Shellfish Butter; and Rhubarb Crème Brulee with Almond Sauce. Guests are invited to enjoy a gastro adventure with the Michelin-starred Shang Palace restaurant’s new executive chef Mok and delight in his meticulously prepared and artistically presented signature dishes. This August, Nadaman’s chef Kojima follows nature’s lead and uses the in-season matsutake mushroom to create an array of tasty delicacies. From 15 August to 30 September 2011, guests are invited to discover the many different flavours of the King of Mushroom in Japan. For sweet indulgence, pastry Chef Wins Hung whips up ten cupcake flavours, including pistachio, strawberry, mango, blueberry, chocolate and many more.
