Jones Lang LaSalle Launches Mexico Resort Development and Consulting Solutions Group

Development industry veteran Gilberto Riojas joins Jones Lang LaSalle to lead the unit

Jones Lang LaSalle announced today the expansion of its Mexico operations with a new division. The Resort Development and Consulting Solutions Group (RDG) will initially serve the Mexican market with future expansion into Latin America.

The RDG offers a comprehensive range of consultative services, including design, funding, development, project management. In addition, the group offers Jones Lang LaSalle’s full menu of real estate services, including tenant and landlord representation, energy and sustainability, Investment sales and acquisitions, valuation advisory and property management, all focused on the specific needs of the resort and hospitality business.

“The Resort Development and Consulting Solutions Group is a ground-breaking new sector in the resort industry,” said Hector Klerian, Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Mexico. “With this expansion, Jones Lang LaSalle is better positioned to serve local clients on resort hospitality projects with a dedicated team of industry leaders.”

The firm has retained industry veteran Gilberto Riojas to lead the efforts of RDG. Gilberto holds a bachelors degree from the School of Architecture at the Universidad Anahuac, and a masters in Business Administration from the IPADE business school. Gilberto brings more than 25 years of real estate experience to Jones Lang LaSalle with a proven track record in residential, office and resort projects throughout Mexico.
