Sheraton Steamboat Resort Receives Multiple Awards (United States)

The Sheraton Steamboat Resort has been the recipient of several recent industry awards recognizing the teams' outstanding achievements for service culture, guest satisfaction, and hotel design.

2009 Starwood North America Excellence Awards - Service Culture Transformation- this prestigious award recognizes the general manager and hotel as the number one Starwood property in North America for service culture. The criteria includes the greatest percentage of improvement of the Service Composite scores as it relates to overall Guest Satisfaction and the highest percentage of employee engagement of all hotels throughout North America. John Curnow, General Manager, received the award in New York at the Starwood North America Excellence Awards Celebration on April 22.

Best Unique Private Dining Space - chosen as the Editor's Pick for "Best Unique Dining Space" from Colorado Meetings and Events Magazine's, Best of Colorado 2010. The distinctive, private dining room which can accommodate up to 30 for a private party was part of the recent $20-million hotel renovation and offers a unique, modern decor. The hotel has also been nominated for an overall Design Excellence award by the American Society of Interior Designers.

Expedia's Insiders Select List - which includes only 1% of the very best hotels and resorts as rated by millions of Expedia customers and Expedia in-house experts. Expedia's Insiders Select Methodology includes Travelers Opinions + value + Expedia Hotel Expert input.
