This free service allows all iPhone users to reserve an Accor hotel. It is an innovate application that gives clients real-time access to hotel room availability so they can book any time, anywhere.
The application is in keeping with the Apple spirit: simple and stylish, with practical and intuitive tactile browsing and cutting-edge functions like geolocation. The latter enables users to search for the nearest hotels using a GPS, calculate itineraries in real time, find hotels using an interactive map, etc.
The application is doubly attractive because it offers users access to promotions and personalized services. Clients will enjoy the best offers; will be able to consult favourite hotels and current reservations, etc.
Jean-Luc Chrétien, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Distribution at Accor Hospitality explains the innovative aspects of the application and supports the launch:
“We believe we can have a big impact today on the tourism and mobile telephone markets, which are now inseparable. Our application is one of the first real shopping solutions for the general public: it includes secure payment devices which allow users to search for and reserve their hotels while on the move. According to a recent study by ATG, travel is the first product the French would buy using their mobile phones, ahead of cultural products and show tickets. We intend to take full advantage of the craze for this new sales channel.”
The application is already available in the five languages (French, English, German, Spanish and Italian).
